I'm Parisa, a Product & UX leader.

I help companies solve complex product challenges—from defining strategy to shipping intuitive experiences used by millions.

I'm equally comfortable owning a 0-to-1 problem solo or getting 30+ designers across five organizations aligned on a single standard with no reporting authority over any of them.

Currently looking to extend my impact beyond gaming.

My goal: help companies deliver digital products that are not only functional and beautiful, but also meaningful and scalable.

Leadership

The clearest example of how I lead:

when I was asked to set a single UX guideline across five co-dev studios and 30+ designers — none of whom reported to me — I didn't hand down a mandate. I ran the restructuring as a collaborative exercise with the designers whose features were competing for space, because people defend a system they helped build, and look for reasons to break one they were just handed.

That's the pattern I bring to every team I lead: set a clear guideline, make the reasoning transparent enough that people can hold themselves to it, and get out of the way.

I'd rather a team make a good decision without me in the room than need me there to make every call.

Work together

“Parisa was, without a doubt, one of the most impactful and valuable team members I had the privilege of working with on War Robots: Frontiers. She joined us at a critical moment - just a year before release - and took on the formidable challenge of completely rebuilding the game’s meta UX/UI while leading a newly assembled team to deliver it in time for launch. The scale of that task was immense, yet she executed it with brilliance, turning what could have been a risk into one of our strongest successes.

Parisa is the kind of professional who elevates everyone around her. She doesn’t just bring deep knowledge and expertise, she has the rare ability to push her peers and leaders alike to become better at what they do. Her relentless drive for operational excellence and team organization was matched by her talent for mentoring and guiding others, ensuring that both junior and senior colleagues could thrive under her leadership.

Beyond her exceptional skillset, Parisa is a true team player: collaborative, inspiring, and unwaveringly committed to creating the best possible experience for players. Working with her was not only a professional highlight but also a personal learning journey. I grew from her mindset, her discipline, and her vision.

Her combination of UX/UI mastery, leadership, and process excellence makes her an extraordinary professional, and I would jump at any opportunity to work with her again.”

- Jennifer Cacheux-Girling, Executive Producer

“Parisa Zhong is the type of developer and human being that you want when you are building a core team and she defines the values, quality expectations, and standards for all those around her. She sets a very high bar for herself, and as a result, her work and professionalism drive those around her to be better and perform to their potential.

Having worked with her over multiple years, I found her honesty and brevity to be invaluable in helping me make product-level and personnel decisions, and I was able to identify areas of concern, opportunities, and blind spots. This is probably the thing that I miss the most now that we aren't working together.

Regarding her discipline expertise, she is a logical problem solver who is capable of bringing you on her journey to decisions and directions, through clear and comprehensive documentation, presentations, and discussions.

It always impressed me that she made her decisions in such a comprehensive manner while still allowing for team members and leads to challenge and question decisions. Her flexibility in her approach led to much more buy-in from team members, and this ability to encourage collaboration and team work made her one of the most respected members of our leadership team(s).

I hope that I have an opportunity to work with, or for Parisa in the future.”

- Justin Farren, Chief Creative Officer

“I have known and worked along side Parisa off-and-on for years now (first at Ubisoft and more recently at NetEase) having collaborated on both project feature work and higher-level strategic direction. I have always appreciated her critical (yet forward) thinking and efficient approach to planning, design and delivery. She strives for clarity across dense and/or complex topics all while maintaining a pleasant, level-headed demeanor throughout any challenge, regardless of how time-crunched or intense the work can become. She is a great design partner, leader, and is an overall joy to work with, so I truly hope we cross paths again somewhere down the road - any team would be lucky to have her.
